Mount Prenj, often referred to as the “Bosnian Himalayas,” is located in the heart of the Dinaric Alps in Bosnia and Herzegovina and is widely considered one of the most beautiful and demanding mountain ranges in the country. Among its most prominent summits are Otiš and Zelena Glava, the two highest peaks of Mount Prenj.
Reaching these peaks rewards hikers with unforgettable panoramic views over a dramatic landscape shaped by ancient glaciers, marked by deep valleys, alpine meadows, and framed by imposing rocky towers. From the summits, the wild and untouched character of Prenj fully reveals itself, offering a powerful sense of isolation, scale, and natural beauty.
