The Radimlja river canyon is a natural wonder and unique ecosystem. The river Radimlja flows through the winding canyon and eventually joins the Bregava river. A tributary of the Radimlja River is the Svilica river features a waterfall called Istup which is over 200 meters high with its basin surrounded by cliffs. These natural pools with crystal-clear water are hidden gems where you can not only enjoy the scenery but also take a refreshing swim.
The canyon lies close to the famous Radimlja necropolis (UNESCO World Heritage Site), combining natural beauty with cultural heritage. Depending on the season and water levels, the Radimlje–Istup canyon offers an exciting yet accessible adventure suitable for both beginners and experienced canyoning enthusiasts.
